The Sabetha Golf Club board is very excited to announce the hiring of Brian Lundergard as the new course superintendent. Brian has been the Assistant Superintendant at Cypress Ridge Golf Course in Topeka since 2009. Greg Strahm and Eric Rokey reviewed all applicants and were very impressed with Brian's vast wealth of golf course knowledge, on job experience, and his strong work ethic. Brian also has a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture, with emphasis in Turf and Landscape Management from Kansas State University. Please introduce yourself to Brian on the course and make him feel welcome as he transitions into his new position.

Sabetha Golf and Country Club, located one mile north of Sabetha in Northeast Kansas, is a private club open to members and their guests. The golf course was built in 1923 and utilizes the natural terrain and landscape to provide for a challenging course. The clubhouse features a pro shop, a full service kitchen and bar area, and both a large and a private dining area to provide members and guests with an enjoyable dining experience.

Carts are allowed on the golf course, and cart sheds are available for rent for those members choosing to keep their carts on the premises. Electricity is provided for those with electric carts. Please contact the Board Member in charge of the cart sheds for availability of sheds.

Various social functions are scheduled throughout the year, such as Ladies' Roundelay and Dinner Bridge/Pitch during the winter months, weekly Stag nights, ladies golfing, and a Luau alongside the pool during the summer months.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact one of the Board Members.
